What are your philosophies?
All American Cheer Force strives to instill a positive work ethic, healthy lifestyle, and strong team and personal values.
What do you feel about honesty as a value?
We believe in openly sharing both strengths and weaknesses with our athletes. Very few cheerleaders are strong in all areas. Our team members will always know what strengths they offer a team and their skills that need improvement.
How do you enforce your rules?
AAC Force members will be held accountable for their mistakes and individual actions. Most members quickly learn this and develop strong work ethics. They also learn to respect their teammates as well as the staff. Self discipline is the first step in creating a strong athlete.
How do you measure success?
Individual effort+ teamwork = Success
Success in any performance is determined by each individual’s work ethics. Members must practice both in and out of the gym to guarantee that their goals will be reached. Success is met when we do our absolute best towards meeting our team goals.
What kind of support do you need from parents?
Support Makes the Program Our athletes and our parents must show their support for the entire program. It makes them part of our family and not just part of one team. Strength and confidence will grow in this type of environment. We also encourage our athletes to support other programs demonstrating outstanding sportsmanship. We teach our students to appreciate and respect talent even if it is not within our own program.
What if parents want things that don't benefit the team?
All American Cheer Force is like most other business. Our customers are definitely the parents, but our focus is on the children. Sometimes parents expect us to do what they want because they write the checks. We value our customers, but we base our decisions solely on the needs of the team. Customers hire us because we know what is best for the team and their child. Favoritism & politics have No Place within the All American Cheer Force. Our guarantee to our customers is that we will maintain a no tolerance policy for “cheerleading or parent gossip”.
Does the most skilled person on the team get more attention?
Everyone will be treated equally. All individuals offer something different to their team. Some may be the best tumblers while others may be outstanding leaders. Everything that is offered makes up the team. Yes, there are athletes in our facility that can do more than others, but it is our philosophy to continue to coach those members with the same intensity as everyone else. They are not given special treatment. It is unhealthy for anyone to feel like they are the focal point of the teams’ success. We push all athletes, expecting the same dedication from all.
It is ok for us to train hoping we get second place?
Why train for 2nd place? Competitive cheerleading means training in an ambitious atmosphere. We spend every minute of every practice coaching with 1st place in mind. If our team performs a routine to the best of their ability, then our goal has been achieved. Usually, “hitting” the routine brings a 1st place title, but if we “hit” and don’t win because another team has more talent, then we’ve still achieved our goals. Winning isn’t everything, but we don’t train to lose.

ABOUT THE ALL AMERICAN CHEER FORCE
All American Cheer Force is a non profit organi ation that trains competitive cheer teams. This will be our sixth season and we are anticipating a very exciting and successful year. We are dedicated to giving each cheerleader the ultimate cheerleading experience. Our staff strives to develop the “whole athlete” – physically, mentally, and emotionally by means of various competitions, community involvement, performances, and practices. The main goals of the Cheer Force are to offer the best technical training and the most innovative choreography available. We train athletes to be exceptional cheerleaders, but most of all, we want them to be exceptional individuals. We train the youth in our program on a personal level by providing techniques that will enchance each of their stregnths and develop their weaknesses. We view cheerleading as a lesson in life with strengths that will carry you for the rest of your life.This technique of physical aligned with mental and social development will not only help our teams reach their athletic potential but help them become well-rounded individuals as well.
Our competitive program’s primary purpose is to teach growing young adults how to work together as a team. While each individual’s contribution is certainly important, we feel that team effort is the way to reach your goals. Throughout a person’s life, they will be in situations where they must work together to achieve common goals. Whether in professional or social life, teamwork is a lifetime lesson more valuable than any tumbling or stunting skill. All American Cheer Force athletes build self confidence and team synergy through focus on teamwork, integrity, structure, and safe workouts.
The hours, weeks, months and even years of work that go into improving stunts, tumbling, jumps, motions, and dance will improve skills and chances of cheering in collegiate programs. The most important lessons learned are sportsmanship, working together towards common goals, and striving to win. Cheer Force staff are most excited about seeing the life lessons we provide being utilized by the youth of our programs. USASF
“USASF is the U.S. All Star Federation. It's about safety standards. It's about coaches' education. It's about providing a safe environment to allow for the continued growth of all star cheerleading and dance across the country. It's about parents knowing their children are being taught using safe methods that are in accordance with the standard of care. It's about standardization of rules from one competition to the next. It's about time. The U.S. All Star Federation is officially organized as a not for profit corporation governed by a Board of Directors. The Board consists of industry leaders from major competition companies and nationally recognized all star program owners.”
USASF sets the rules for All-Star cheerleading nationally. They also set the age requirements and skill requirements for all levels and divisions. USASF is the industry leader in safety. All AAC Force coaches are USASF certified and credentialed by USASF for the level they coach.
All American Cheer Force will use the All American Cheer & Tumbling Facility, and is located at 2940 E 14th Ave , Columbus, Ohio 43219. We request that you follow the gym’s guidelines and treat the facility with respect. The facility will become a 2nd home for many of our athletes so we will need it to stay in “show ready” condition at all times.
- NO gum chewing in the facility
- NO street shoes allowed on the cheer mats or trampoline
- Parents and spectators MUST remain in the designated viewing area
- NO food allowed in the gym, water only in the designated area.
The All American Cheer Staff prides itself on providing the best programs. Our staff has coached teams to over 29 national titles ,as well as, individual titles.
Our staff brings a variety of styles and strengths/qualities that help develop our athletes all around, which is essential in creating good quality cheerleaders. One quality that sets our staff apart. Our coaches always bring a fresh and innovative routine to the floor and has choreographed National and Grand National award winning routines.
The ability to constantly change our choreography in-house gives our athletes the advantage over others because we can adjust our routines based on our score sheets to improve throughout the year.
The Force staff has the ability to train athletes at every level, from beginner tumbling to elite tumbling, back handsprings to standing fulls, double based preps to rewinds. We will begin with the basics for the new athlete to make sure that they have covered all of the steps in the progression of learning and move them though the fitness and stregnth conditioning to the next level. Stunting is a team aspect of cheerleading so we will teach each athlete to perform their job in unison with the rest of the stunt group.

The coaching staff of the All American Cheer Force will choose all competitions. Non-Travel teams will only be scheduled for competitions in which we can get there and back in the same day. Therefore non-travel teams will not have any hotel expenses. Traveling teams will be scheduled for 1-3 out of town competitions which will require at least a 1-2 night stay for each competition. The competition season will begin in August and end in April. Please note that if any competitions change, cancel or move; your schedule may be affected. The AAC Force staff will do their best to reschedule or move around the schedule to fit into the year and will do our best to find another competition around the same time.
Competitions always fall on a weekend. Please know that competition days are long and we ask that you block off the entire day.
This does not mean that the competition will last that long, however we do not know our performance schedule until a few days before the competition so we ask everyone not to make any other plans for the day. ALL athletes are REQUIRED to stay for the entire competition and will not be dismissed until every All American Cheer Force team has performed and received their awards. NO EXCEPTIONS.
All cheerleaders will use the same accommodations at all out of town competitions. All travel arrangements will be made by staff.
There must be a parent in every room, no exceptions.
Each cheerleader must have a chaperone at every competition. It is not coaching staff’s or Team Parents responsibility to be your child’s chaperone.
Proper traveling attire will be discussed with each team prior to an out of town competition.
AAC Force Basic Skills camp will be hosted at the All American Cheer & Tumbling Facility. Camp is mandatory. Camp will consist of learning tumbling skills, stunting skills, choreography for competition, etc. The dates will be chosen and communicated as soon as possible. If your cheerleader misses cheer camp, you will still be financially responsible for the camp costs and the cheerleader must schedule time to make up/ learn all items missed.
Competitive cheerleading is a sport that takes commitment. AAC Force cheer teams will typically practice 2 times per week for a total of 5-6 hours. (Mini’s will practice a total of 3-4 hours per week.) This does not include your required tumbling class which is included in your tuition. The practice schedule for each team will be determined by a combination of gym availability and school activities.To the best of our ability, we will attempt to create a schedule that accommodates all the athletes on the team. The length and number of practices may change as we enter new phases of the season. Some months may have more and/or longer practices than others.
Holidays and other prescheduled days off will be communicated to all of the teams via the website and email. If at all possible, please try to plan all family vacations around the days you have been given off .
Weather in the winter in Columbus can sometimes put a damper on schedules. If practice or an event is cancelled due to weather, more than likely it will not be communicated until the day of the practice or event. Cancellations will be communicated via the website, email, text messages and/or team parents and channels 4,6,and 10. If school is cancelled, we may still have practice so please call and check if you are not sure. Many times weather and school closings are not the same across the city.
TEAM PLACEMENTS / EVALUATIONS
What to wear:
Practice shorts (not basketball shorts), t-shirt or sport tank, cheerleading or tennis shoes. Your hair must be pulled off of your face in a pony tail, or ½ up ½ down. NO JEWELRY is allowed during evaluations or at any practices throughout the year. There is no gum chewing or eating while at practice. Bring a water bottle to keep hydrated.
AACFORCE staff will complete an athlete assessment for each participant during the evaluation period. This will help determine what skill level you are and what team you would most benefit from. Athletes are selected for a team based on the relevance of their skills, the position they may hold within the team, work ethic, age appropriateness and potential ability. Staff will also take a photo of each participant at registration.
Teams will be selected upon many criteria; however there are four major areas : 1.) tumbling ability/potential 2.) stunting position (flyer, base, backspot) and 3.) staff recommendations/evaluations of returning team members 4) dance skills /motions. Athletes will be placed on a team where individual skills will benefit the team and program as a whole. To be competitive, our teams must have clean, well-developed skills at each level. The placement process is not about what is best for the individual, but what is best for the team as a whole.
No athlete has an absolute guarantee of a roster spot on any particular team. The coaching staff reserves the right at any time, without notice, to change the rosters of the teams by adding, rearranging, or removing athletes to/from teams for a performance, practice, or the entire program. We will attempt to make roster changes as infrequent as possible and with as much warning as possible. Athletes may be removed from our program at any time for reasons which may include, but are not limited to: attitude problems, absences and/or tardiness, talent level, lack of improvement, lack of financial responsibility, fitness level of an athlete, and personality conflicts between athletes, coaches, parents or anyone else involved in our program.
Cross competing is when an athlete competes on more than one team is by invitation from the AACFORCE coaches only. Athletes exhibiting key skills and a positive attitude will be invited to “crossover” onto a second team. This
option gives the athlete and opportunity to utilize their full potential on two teams. Athletes will be responsible for all competition fees if chosen to cross compete. Crossovers will not have an increase in tuition to participate on two teams.
Team Placements will be posted online at www.aacforce.com on a password protected webpage. You will receive the password information after evaluations have been complete.
Team placements occurring after the start of the season will be completed via a working practice session. You will work out with the team or via a private session with the coaches.
AACFORCE MEMBERSHIP AGREEMENT (monthly tuition)
To ensure commitment of all team members and to protect the best interest of each of our clients, FORCE Cheer parents are required to sign a 12 month All American Cheer Force Membership Agreement June 20__ – May 20__. By signing the Parent Agreement, athletes and their parents are committing themselves to no less than 12 months with the program, and are financially responsible for 11 months of tuition. In return, AAC Force will guarantee instruction by qualified, AAC Force staff and training within the AACTF facility. The contract does not guarantee a specific team position or division and does not guarantee the athlete will perform. An athlete’s placement within the routine will be contingent upon skill attainment/execution and adherence to attendance policies. AAC FORCE reserves the right to combine teams anytime during the season if circumstances deem necessary and we will adhere to a specific Termination process in the event the full year contract cannot be completed.
Tuition covers regular practices, extra practices and staff assistance at camps and competitions. Tuition will not be prorated for holidays, gym closings and weeks without star practices. Family Discount: There is a 10% discount on tuition only for each additional family member. The discount applies to the lowest tuition amount.
There will be NO hidden fees in 2013-2014 for our AAC Force customers. We have developed a detailed payment system to allow our clients the opportunity to pay only one time per month. This system makes it easy for our customers to know what they are paying per month and what is included in that monthly fee. We are eliminating the numerous payments throughout each month giving our customers the opportunity to budget for the monthly costs.
If your account is past due on any items (clothing, uniform, bag, etc...) you will not receive the item until your account is brought current. Your must not owe any money to either AACForce or the All American Cheer Training Facility at the end of the year or you will not be able to register for the next season. If your account becomes more than 30 days delinquent or after April 15, 2014 your account will be turned over to an outside collection agency for collections and a collection fee of 35% of the balance will be added.
EARLY TERMINATION OF AAC Force AGREEMENT
In the event an athlete’s position on a team is terminated for any reason including, without limitation, injury, job relocation, moving, conduct, etc…
AAC FORCE must be notified via a letter (no emails) or by speaking to COACH TINA directly
You WILL be charged tuition on a monthly basis for the remainder of the season
All items paid for including registration fees, camp fees, etc. are non-refundable.
Items paid for, but not yet received are non-refundable and remain the property of AACFORCE

Why join All American Cheer Force?
If you have a positive, hardworking attitude and love to perform, then you belong on a All American Cheer Force competitive cheer team. AAC Force, we understand that everyone must start somewhere. Our coaches will place your athlete on a team that best fits their current skill level and then work closely with your athlete to identify and help them achieve the skill level they desire.
Our coaches know first hand the dedication and commitment needed to be an All-star Cheerleader. Your athlete does not need to have advanced skills to achieve greatness. Their attitude, drive, and commitment will lead them to success. At AAC Force, every quality your athlete has to offer will be considered in placing them on the appropriate team. For the 2011-2012 season we plan on having teams available for all levels, ages, and abilities.
1) The LOWEST training costs of all the gyms in the area
2) All of our coaches have years of personal cheer experience including cheering at the Collegiate level .
3) USASF Level 1-5 certified coaches.
4) NO TRY-OUTS - we will be conducting individual evaluations for determining team placement....no stressful tryout process!!!
5) NO EXPERIENCE NECESSARY.....we don't just train national champions, we build them!!!
How are teams formed?
Teams are formed based on USASF Divisions and skill level of the individual. Depending on demand and turn-out in any particular age group, teams are formed using the below as a general guideline. AAC Force may merge age groups to form a single team.
NOTE: Please note that the ages are subject to change per the USASF meeting. What is listed below is the 2012-2013 age chart.
|Division||Age as of August 31,2012|
|Tiny||5 and under|
|Mini||8 and under|
|Youth||11 and under|
|Junior||14 and under|
|Senior||18 and under|
|Senior Open||17 and over|
Why do I have to come to Evaluations?
All American Cheer Force is a NO CUT program; skill evaluations are necessary for team placement. Our staff will look at the athletes overall skill level, potential, ability to work with others, and ability to be coached.
If you are unable to make scheduled skill placement dates, please email email@example.com or call 614-580-7378 (Coach Tina) to arrange an alternative evaluation time.
Is there a fee for Placements? NO, there is no fee for Team Placements/Evaluations.
What if I have never cheered before?
AAC Force understands that most kids have not cheered before. We know that stars are not born...We train, support, and build them! All American Cheer Force has a place for you, " Welcome to the Force!"
What kind of cheerleaders are you looking for?
AAC Force is looking for athletes that will represent our program with pride, respect, hard work, sportsmanship, and excitement! We are not only the best competitive program, we want to have fun, build character, and shape our future leaders! AAC Force is a family! With all our athletes, coaches, and parents, we make up an amazing award winning program!
We are not looking for any particular thing at skill evaluations. There is no "type" or "size" of cheerleader. We need cheerleaders in all "types" and "sizes". On a cheer team, there are many different talents and positions needed. Therefore, we want everyone to experience cheerleading in their life.
What should I wear to the clinics / skill evaluations?
All athletes should wear a t-shirt, cheer shorts, socks, and flat bottomed athletic/cheer shoes. The shirt and cheer shorts should not be excessively loose and shirts must be tucked in. Girls tend to be more comfortable wearing a sports bra underneath their t-shirt. Hair must be secured away from the face at all times. To ensure all participants' safety no jewelry should be worn at any time. This includes watches, rings, necklaces, and body piercings such as ear rings, navel rings, eyebrow rings, tongue studs, etc.
What skills do I need?
Tumbling is NOT required. Tumbling is an important part of our routines, so we will help you improve your tumbling during a skill based tumbling class. If you do have tumbling skills, you will have the opportunity to perform those during your evaluation. AA Cheer Force always offers tumbling classes. If you would like to join a tumbling class, just call!
We will look at each athlete during skill evaluations and evaluate their overall ability. There might be certain qualities that an athlete has that would make him/her valuable to one particular team without having tumbling skills. Remember, we are looking for other qualities besides tumbling! Become the best by being trained by the best.
Jumps should look effortless throughout the body and the face (you need to be able to smile while jumping! It should land with the feet completely together, toes pointed, and arms in the correct placement. That's it! For the younger or newer cheerleaders, we will teach proper jump technique!
